⌠The Prince of Silence■ is a culmination of the band Nautilus Pompilius' career, and at the same time a sign of its fall. The album has obvious attempts to commercially re-sing and re-record old songs (⌠Last Letter,■ ⌠Bound by One Chain,■ etc.), but also includes unique studio recordings such as ⌠Striptease■ and ⌠I Want to Be With You.■ This record is apparently Nautilus' best-seller- in 1989 it was released on Melodia, and how many copies it sold exactly no one will know for sure. The main catch on the disk is Alla Pugacheva's backing vocal on the song ⌠Doctor of Your Body.■
